The fact that the Genesis DLC shows up in the info carousel in the main menu of ME2 does not prove that it is installed or that you own it.One person is all that stands between humanity and the greatest threat it’s ever faced. It's a common mistake a lot of people make, because EA is not very clear how to obtain / install DLC for ME2. I was asking if you downloaded the file from thinking it would work without the need to register it to your EA account. It is registered to an EA account by purchasing it from the Origin store - whether via the ME2 DLC bundle or through the purchase and use of BioWare Points.

To have it work with any version of ME2 on Steam, it needs to be registered to the EA account that is used to log in to the Cerberus Network. The Genesis DLC is not included with any edition of ME2 on PC. Did you purchase the Genesis DLC, or did you simply download and install it from EA's website, hoping it would "just work"? Hoping it would just work?ĭon't be a troll. That little carousel shows DLC that are available for purchase - whether you already own them or not.
